For details on Coranavirus/Covid 19, please read the news section for latest updates on the practice.
Just an update on the practice. Penny will be returning to work on the 17th August and will increase our hygiene visit capacity to approximately 70% of normal. This will help with the backlog of treatment outstanding and allow more patients to receive treatment sooner. We are trying our very best to see people as soon as we can, so please be patient. If you have problems, broken teeth or pain, do ring and let us know so we can get you in to attend to your needs. If the main number is engaged, please ring the emergency number if you otherwise cannot get through. 07593 975192
We are currently seeing people for filling appointments in the morning, as it is cooler with all our protective gear on, and it avoids me having to shave twice! More than 7 hours of stubble can stop the masks fitting. They are pretty tight and leave marks all over our face when we take them off, but they disappear within 15 minutes, and they protect you and us from possible infection, reducing risk of coranavirus by over 99%, without allowing for the visors, high volume suction, our air extraction fans and of course the viruskillers, one in each surgery. We hope when you attend, that you will feel really safe. Reception are working through all patients from the beginning, with everyone being booked in for an examination to start. It is nearly six months since lockdown, and we want to reassess everyone`s mouth to ensure we miss nothing, and make sure everyone is healthy and dentally fit. We try and get everything done where possible in a single visit. This has the advantage of reducing our time lost to deep cleaning between every patient who has work carried out. Less needed means more treatment time, and reduces the need to reattend the practice more than necessary.
We all look forward to welcoming you back to the practice in the near future,
